Over on the 49erwebzone, a member of ours was featured in an article about NFL Draftday Diehards. I tried to post a link, but since I'm a new member it won't let me. Some of our members felt bad about his situation, and talked about what we could do, but ultimately a Jets fan took it upon himself to hook him up. You could read about it on the 49erwebzone, Niner talk forum. "FINAL UPDATE... A very generous and kind individual has donated four great seats to Billy for his first 49ers game ever. Billy will travel to MetLife Stadium in September to watch the 49ers take on the Jets. It should be noted that a JETS fan donated the tickets to a game he could not attend. What a good guy." If there are any other updates to this story, I will add them here. I may contact Les or Billy tomorrow to double-check on the above, but otherwise I think we're good." Props to the Jets fan who came through....not sure if he's a member here. Always nice to see something like this. BTW, I'm a Niner fan first being born in SF, but having grown up in NY I have adopted the Jets as my primary side team, and wish them well. Disappointed like all of you about not making the Super Bowl in '09 and '10. I hope the Tebow/Sanchez thing works out. I can relate to how a QB can be vilified by media & fans.
