($3M total) Incentives = - 80 catches in the regular season ($800K per year, Max total $3.2M) - 14 starts in the regular season ($1M per year, Max $4M) - 1,000 yards in the regular season ($1M per year, Max $4M) - 10 TD catches in the regular season ($1M per year, Max $4M) - Pro-bowl selection as starter ($1M per year, Max $4M) - Team wins at least 1 playoff game in the season ($1M per year, Max $4M) If all incentives are met the contract would be worth $30.2M over the four years. He could make $7.55M a year, but realistically would probably average around $6M. Considering we were paying Coles $6M a year, this would be a serious upgrade. The worst case scenario, they don't pan out, meets no incentives and gets a guaranteed $4M. they get cut before March 1st. Best case scenario, meets all his incentives and gets a decent paycheck for it. Now before you bash the thread, just consider how much guaranteed money Crabtree will get this year. He has never played an NFL game and is coming off an injury. Too much money and too many question marks.
If you can get either TO or Harrison or whoever for a mere $7.55 a year, I'd be all for it. In the face of million dollar contracts, 7 bucks is pretty much nothing. On a second thought: 7.55M? Are you fucking nuts? Why would you want to BUY locker room cancer at a whopping 7 mil a year?
The majority of the members want no part of T.O. They like losing weekly and not being in the Super Bowl otherwise they would have nothing to talk about.

Romo dropped the ball not T.O. His individual stats are better than the entire JETS WR corps and we do need a #1 WR.

Again, if a Cowboys team that is very talented across the board couldn't get to the SB after adding TO, how is he going to carry this team on his back? The Jets should stay far away from him. Stats aren't everything.
new coach...no way he takes the chance of losing his locker room before he gets control GM with job on the line...signing TO would be all the reasoning to get him fired without a dominating year now...don't get me wrong I am a big fan of TO... he is an amazing wr that just needs to be handled...and i wonder if there could be some sort of media interaction clause in his contract (NFLPA would probably get pissed), b/c that is clearly his downfall but that man loves to win and has a solid 4 yrs left b/c of the way he keeps in shape...just the way jerry rice did ...now as for marvin harrison...i wouldnt want any part of him injury prone the past few seasons and his hands let him down last season...which is what made him great in the past TO is great bc of his big plays and physical play...not b/c of his hands like harrison harrison has lost his edge ...i don't see either WR even being on our radar as for Holt...he might peak the FO interest, but even then...i don't think we compete for a WR I'd settle for Joey Galloway and a day one WR

I can make this look silly very quickly. Think about how much Terrell Owens cries for the ball when playing WITHOUT incentives.
T.O is 36 hes winding down in his career he wants a RING. I think T.O being the athlete he is does whatever it takes to accomplish that goal.

If the Cowboys are willing to go witgh 9+ mill in dead cap space to get rid of TO, why would the Jets take a chance that he would not be the same locker room problem he was for them. TO is talented but his off feild problems and thier effect on a team far out weigh any potential talent upgrade. The 49ers saw that, the Egales saw that, Even the Cowboys saw it. You need a strong leader at QB to have even a chance of getting the best of TO. He'd chew up and spit out the young QBs on the Jets. Bad idea.
