If you had told me, going into the game that Losman would throw for over 300 and Willis would run for over 150, and the Bills would LOSE, I'd call you crazy. Well, it happened. Great job by the Jets capitalizing on HUGE Buffalo mistakes. Great work by your O-line protecting Chad. Clearly, the Jets are underrated, and the Bills were a bit over-rated going into the game. It's clear now that the Pats and Fins are just not that good. Did you see the Fins nearly lose to the Titans? Yikes. Anyways, the future looks bright for both teams, I have mixed emotions. I'm pissed they lost, but I'm happy with a lot of things that Buffalo did. I think JP has improved a lot, he still has work to do, but he certainly isn't nearly as bad as he was last year. Anyways, good game. Good luck, until we meet again.
Nice to see some quality Buffalo fans. I've never really had a problem with them but thanks for the congrats.
hey...you showed up to the website after a loss..and thats a 10 with me. The bills are improved thats for sure...especially on offense...nice weapons. Where have all the dolphin fans gone? hmmmm....as far as Im concerned..their word around here means crap from now on...and you guys know who Im talking about.
I was at a Jet game in Buffalo in 1998 and I found most of the fans to be knowledgable and decent. But it was a Saturday morning so maybe they were just hungover. During the 1st quarter I thought it was going to be our typical shitty game at Buffalo, who knew?
Losman has a good arm; actually a very good arm. Willis is still a heck of a treat. Take away the Bills mistakes and the Bills would have won the game. Just like when we play the Pats, it always comes down to mistakes that make the difference.
Especially with young teams, like the Bills. They need to learn that you can't be careless, every little detail matters. Look at the whiffed block by McGahee that led to the blind side hit on Losman. Led to a TD. I don't care what anyone says, any NFL team is going to make you pay for your mistakes, some teams are good enough to over come them, but obviously The Bills aren't there yet. Hopefully they learn from it, and move on. It's going to be another tough week with the Vikes in town this weekend.
Whats up F_L? FBH stayed away from our board this time. Nice of you to admit that we are underrated. I don't feel the Bills are overrated, like you said, you dominated in all the numbers except turnovers. Losman needs to get a better sense of when a block isn't picked up. McGahee is looking more and more like a steal, when critics were micking Bills choosing him so high. Maybe I'll see you in No Tos sometime again...
Bills should take the Vikes. We also can not absorb mistakes. 1 maybe. Once it goes beyond that, we are fighting for our lives.
One last point. If the Bills pulled off that attempted forward shovel from the field goal attempt, it was going for big, big yardage. What a well designed play. It was an awful shovel pass. The guy totally missed the intended receiver from 4 yards away. Still a very good design. Jets. Hint. Hint. Brad Smith. Hint. Hint.
You can't throw a pass that far behind a tackle and expect him to get it, you pretty much have to put it right in his hands. There were a few spots where Buffalo could have put the game almost out of reach, that was one. The play where Bobby Hamilton got Losman on 3rd and goal was another. Also, the sack that led to Vilma's recovery, if we don't get that we could have also been in trouble. The Jets did a good job surviving that early surge.
