Very good to see the first game of the Mangini era end in a win, despite the issues at kicker. Pennington looked like a bonafide stud and Coles, although I have my issues with him, looked like he's finally resolved the toe issue. Man looked like he had a jet pack strapped to his back.

Even though it is only one game, the Jets looked just as good as any team in the AFC East yesterday, and maybe better. Chemistry is what wins championships, and hopefully the new regime and new attitude at Eubank Hall will serve this franchise for years to come.

Who knows, perhaps Herm was your Spurrier (except with the ability to remember his players' names and with a few more wins).

    Good luck.

Thanks. By the way, you might want to start drinking now, tonight could be ugly for you.

Just kidding, but I for one have no idea what to expect from the Skins tonight. They looked so inept in the preseason, but with the talent on that team and the coaching staff you have to figure they aren't that bad. Should be interesting. Good luck to you as well....

Any chance we could have John Hall back?

If Cole's toe issue is finally healed he could be headed for a Pro Bowl season.

It was always a roll of the dice with him kicking, too. His hey day was against the Raiders with the 53 yarder.

Its nice that so many fans of other teams come here and wish us luck. Its nice until i figured out the only reason they do this is because were really not a threat to anyone else. Thanks for the good words anyways.

 I knew he was going to miss that one. He looked like he had no confidence whatsoever when he came trotting out there....

Been thinking the same thing since he left...

At one time he was the best player on our team. He used to lay some serious lumber on kick-offs..

Besides that lazer line drive against the Raiders...I dont know...I never had much confidence in Hall.

I just happened to read that post at the exact time Hall was kicking the field goal..and I started cracking up.
