Should we look to the FA for a RT and draft some defensive weapons while stocking up picks. We trade down with the 4th pick. I don't know to who but we pick up an extra second and 3rd. With the 9th pick from the ABE trade we select no other than Vernon "Big Daddy" Davis. Here we have a young sprout that is going to blossom. Next we pick up a non olineman unless we use it on Justice but If we go to the Fa for a RT we use it on a non o lineman. I'm looking at Jimmy Williams.I think we should trade barrett to a team for their second or third round pick. In the second round our first pick we go for Mangold, our next pick we pick up Lawson. To be honest with you Lawson is underated I think this guy will fit great in our scheme if we run the 3-4. I'm looking at next year offense with A.J at LT Kendell at LG Mangold at Center Moore at RG and Shafter at RT and Davis at TE. on defense we have D-rob, M'kwene, Ellis at the linemen. Barton Vilma Lawson Hobson as the linebackers Jimmy Williams and Miller at corner and E coleman and Rhodes at safety. Ive been hearing alot about Jimmy williams as a shut down corner. I just have to say we need offense more than anyhing but when you look at denver, steelers, colts, chargers, bengals, bears, their defense is emerging as pwerhouses. I just think offense can put points on the board but what if they have an off day. Defense win games, they can end drives and score points. With speedy Backers like Vilma and lawson can be threats in the 3-4 scheme and with a shut down hard hiing corner like Williams we can have teams number one receiver on lock and with that fa from baltimore M'kwene(350 pounds) he will be a terror int he middle cloging up lanes and getting double teams. Offense Line is the foundation but we can work on that. We get Mangold he will be the start of that rebuilding of the oline, and Shafter is a solid RT. AJ I DONT KNOW MUCH OF HIM BUT if people are saying he looks good and is emerging then lets take a gamble and skip d'brick tell me what you think we should do?
We've seen....... what a horrendous offense does to even a good D. We need to upgrade the offense in the worst way.
