    what are comp picks and how do you get them

    they should of made did a lottery on the 31st pick

    Comp picks are awarded for Free Agents that you lose. I don't have all the details, but for instance, if we don't re-sign Kerry Rhodes next year and he goes and signs with the Eagles and has 10 picks and 10 sacks and 150 tackles, we would get a compensatory pick, probably at the end of the 3rd round(I think that is as high as the comp picks go). If we lose Victor Hobson to free agency and he doesn't sign, we don't get a pick, or let's say he signs and gets 35 tackles, 2 sacks, we might get a pick at the end of the 7th round.

    It has to do with the amount of players signed versus players lost. So dont expect any comp picks in the '09 Draft either.
