3 and 3 isn't bad. We SHOULD be 4-2 as we had no business losing to New England!!

    Red Zone Offense

Let me say that again...Red Zone Offense!!!!!!!!!!!

After the team gets a little rest they should be doing NOTHING but working on Red Zone Offense!!!!!

Folks, if we increased our red zone efficiency by a measly 30% we would have blown out BOTH New England and the Eagles. To me, this is the absolute worst area of the entire team and what needs the most work. I guess if someone had Zuerlein as their fantasy kicker they would be cackling all the way to the Fantasy Championship. However, as a Jets fan I want to see single points being added to his stats instead of 3 each kick.

Having said that, the rest of the schedule, now having seen a few teams in action, doesn't look nearly as "reasonable" as it did at the beginning of the season. "Murphy's Law" dictates that we get hammered by the Bills and split with Miami. We have GOT to take the second Patriots game because if we get out of the division at 2 & 4 we aren't going to the playoffs. We MUST get out of the division at 3 & 3. I know we get Atlanta, Houston, Washington and San Diego at home but would it shock anyone if we went 2 & 2 during that stretch? San Diego is going to score, can we stay with them? The other three "should" be winnable but you never know. After Cleveland made that 49'er offense look "average" I don't like our chances against them, in their house and the Raiders ALWAYS play us hard in their house. We should win against the Giants. So, being as realistic as possible this is how I see our season finishing up. You can thank New England's utter and total domination of all things Jets for missing the playoffs this season:

    Giants - W
    Chargers - L
    At Raiders - W
    At Buffalo - L
    Miami - W
    Atlanta - L
    Houston - W
    At Miami - L
    Washington - W
    At Cleveland - L
At New England - L (until we actually beat these fools it's an automatic "L")

The early utterly USELESS loss to the Patriots and the inevitable loss upcoming, at the hands of the Patriots, is what will do our season in. Had we handled a vastly inferior Patriots team we would be in a position to be 10 & 7 with a wild-card slot possible. As it stands now, 8 & 9 is the more realistic scenario with the Jets on the outside looking in and missing the playoffs once again.

You need to manifest that AR will be back by game 14, and he will certainly lead them to victory against Cleveland and New England, and maybe even Miami. 10-7 or 11-6, into the playoffs, miracle run, Super Bowl, and the curse of JWN selling his soul is gone.

    MANIFEST!

What makes you think chargers will score on us when we kept chiefs, bills and eagles under control? As we saw on Monday, Dallas kept them in check as well.

I don’t see us losing to atl or chargers. I can see being blown out by Miami both games as I don’t think we have the speed to keep up with their players.

I agree we need to drastically improve our rz offense and def continue to play as they do.

I can see us getting to 10-7 possibly 11-6 if couple things go our way.

either way now we should be shooting for the playoffs

Losing to the Pats sucks, but I can't complain about our luck in close games considering what our wins have been like. We could be 5-1 right now, but we could also be 0-6. The real bad luck was losing Rodgers since with him we'd probably be 4-2 or even 5-1. But hey if we can get to say 7-5, and Rodgers looks like he could really come back, then we'll be the ones getting the breaks from the referees for a change. Few things would make the NFL more money than us in the playoffs with Rodgers back at QB.

I didn't factor Rodgers in because it's such a wildcard right now. Seriously, what are the very real prospects of this guy tearing his Achilles and actually being able to make it back for the post season let alone regular. Probably be one of the most amazing things I'll ever see.

    Interesting on the w-l.

I usually hesitate on making jets predictions because they use historically surprised, both good and bad(usually bad). But….

    Giants - W
    Chargers - w
    At Raiders - W
    At Buffalo - w
    Miami - l
    Atlanta - w
    Houston - l
    At Miami - w
    Washington - W
    At Cleveland - L
    At New England - w

Wow if they really come out of the bye and rip off 4 straight like that I will be impressed. I think it will be 2-2 though

The Chargers strike me as a bad matchup for this team. A lot like the Cowboys they get the ball out quickly on offense and they have a deadly pass rush on defense

Yeah, those are ones they “should win”, but you know how that goes

Im just hoping we win after the bye, I love how delusional the thinking becomes, when we win a few games!

How quickly people forget, who they're forecasting wins for, how about we just take the Giants game first, then go from there.
