Maye. I also hate when they say whiffed on Smith, he was injury prone with no tell tale sign that that was likely to happen and the arse got a td for the cowboys last season
I can't even bring myself to read that article. I remember all too well all the horrific picks in the 2nd round (and about every other round save maybe the 3rd over the last 30-40 years or so. If Douglas can't change that, I'm not sure that anyone can.
I honestly like him and hope he builds on what he did last year. But at the time he was picked I was angry at it. If we didn't just get Adams the day before he would have been a good pick. But 2 safeties and no o line, pass rush, receiver, or corner. That was absolutely ridiculous. Hopefully we can keep him cheap since most safeties have become cheap after thoughts in free agency. Adams will cost a lot but I don't think anyone below the top tier safeties will cost much.
This notion that he's injury prone is kinda ridiculous. He played 16 games in his rookie season and 16 games last year. 2 full seasons out of 3 total ain't injury prone.
What an insane draft by MacCagnan in 2017! 4 DBs and 3 receivers in ONE draft, but zero OL and DL. Should have fired him the day after the draft.
He played 6 games in 2018. For the math impaired that would mean he missed 10 games. The comment would imply that I hope he stays healthy and contributes every year. The Jets missed his talents in 2018. You took it to the injury prone category and a little disingenuous by purposely leaving out the entire 2018 season.
