Not sure if there is usually a Combine Thread in this forum, but figured I would make one as this gets underway.

Anyway, Alshon Jeffrey just greatly improved his draft stock coming at 6'3, 216 with 10 1/4 hands. His weight was questioned in the offseason, but he appears to be in excellent shape. I would be very happy if he ended up in green and white.

Aaaaand Alshon proves that there are still people who don't know what draft smokescreens are.

    He's not a Sloppy Fatz.

I hope he runs real well.

He has Kalil at #6, very similar to my rankings.

    Smart man!!

Kalil is good, but there are better players...RG3, Blackmon, Mo Clay.

Let's hope he didn't loose his strength, look for his bench press numbers

It's a catch 22, don't bank on the bench numbers without factoring the arm length into it. Longer arms = better wingspan (duh) but less reps. Doesn't mean he's "weaker" than other players, it's just harder to do reps than short (arm) guys.

Speaking of the bench, Adams just put up 19. As was mentioned, that is a little underwhelming, but not totally shocking because of his length.

Yeah this is a good point that I think a lot of people overlook.

Exactly, some people think Wilkerson was weak because he did not put up a lot of reps. Short arms are great for benching, but not football.

Watch Melvin Ingram put up big numbers benching because of his short arms and strength.

I'd say 27 reps is pretty damn good for Wilkerson considering his ridiculously long arms. How many people here can put up 225 even 10 times?

It's funny how the words "weak" and "slow" get thrown around here.

Of course its all relative to his size, you would still like him to put up a good bench for his size not necessary over all. I mean if he beasts the bench , and runs a nice forty. He combine'd himself to the first half and the jets should considers him

Ok let me try that again... anyone has any clue as to why he wasn't invited tothe combine? Was projected as a 3rd-5th rd pick by many.

PS Interested in seeing how Bobby Massie will do in the drills... he sure looks the part of an NFL RT.

PPS Glenn put up 31 reps with extremely long arms (35 something), impressive. Also impressive is Fleener who put up 27 (33" arms), that's better then most OL with similar arm length!

    PPPS Doug Martin 5'9" 223lbs he's a tank!

Should be no question why Stanford has been a win away from BCS titles: elite QB and elite team strength. Wow.

I like Decastro to get the run game going, he is an instant starter will probably be our third best lineman
