We had a thread about favorite draft prospects in 07, how about we go a little further (incoming freshman and rising sophomores). Who are your favorite prospects, if you know any? Mine...

Ryan Perrilloux- this kid is will win LSU a national title and then go on to a fruitful NFL career, mark my words
Matt Sanchez- Carroll has said that in this stage of his development, hes even further along then Leinart and Palmer
Brian Cushing- just an animal at LB and will flat out dominate. just a freshman but still has cracked the lineup and made some impact plays. Probably not this Summer, but hopefully nest Summer, I might get a chance to meet him

Dont know many others but hoping to learn. I know Green Hurricane's gonna toss out some names  ND's Clausen is supposedly a star in the making. Any other young prospects on the rise?

Jimmy Clauson, incoming freshman to Notre Dame. He will probably start once Quinn goes pro, and will have Charlie Weis mentoring him. He chose ND over USC because of Weis

Derrick Williams from Penn State. Before he broke his arm against Michigan he showed his potential as a receiver and as a runner (he played WR but there was a lot of reverse plays and WR option plays). He should have a breakout season this year with one season under his belt and now that Penn State is on the national radar.

Note: He was ranked the #1 Prospect by scout.com last year.

I love the Linebackers at VT Vince Hall and Xavier Adibi.
Adibi is more of a prototypical LB but Vince seems to produce more on the field and is literally around the ball on every play.

Also, VT has a lot of Wide Receivers some might be good pros some might not. (Think Ernest Wilford though) The guy I like the most is the least recognized. Josh Morgan. He doesn't start but comes up biggest in the biggest games. He almost singlehandedly brought the Hokies back from losing the Sugar Bowl and ACC Championship the last two years with huge second halfs. If he is given a shot this guy could thrive plus he's got good size and speed.

Two other guys get me excited here: Victor Harris at CB and Chris Ellis at DE. They both are taking over for the two big names on defense Jimmy Williams and Darryl Tapp and should thrive. Remember their names this fall.
