I know I have seen some UMD students on here, if you live near or in CP, what does anyone think of meeting up at c-stone or where-ever on draftday?
I like the idea, I would be more than happy to come thru as well. It just so happens that 2 of my NY friends will be coming down that weekend and they wanted to make a pitstop in college park to check out the UMD girls as well as the bars where we will most likely have a few pints while watching the draft. I know that there are more jet fans in the college park area so we should really see if we can get a big group together and take over one of the area bars on draft day.
What I would not give for a pint at Bentleys.....is Santa Fe still there? I have not been down for at least two years. Getting down for me is not going to be easy, but let me see what I can do. How 'bout them Lady Terps? I bet NYJUNC that if we beat UNC, he would have to change his Carolina Avatar to a Maryland one. Feel free to jump all over him. GO TERPS! GO JETS!
I'd closer to DC and hit the Bethesda bars for Jets games. Nice to see there's a few of us in the area though.
Well am in the rockville pike area myself and frequent barking dog and tommy joe's from time to time as well as other little hole in the wall places. Good to see that there are other jet fans in my area. I get tired of seeing these redskins and cowboys fans all over.
Your right near by. I'm near Mid Pike mall. I usually hit Caddies to watch the game. Good food, plenty of tvs, can usually get a seat by the one the Jets are on and sometimes even get them on in the back room if I sit back there. Nice waitresses too and on occassion the rest of the women there aren't too shabby either, even the damn Skins fans I've also seen them at Hooters, Willie and Reeds and Rock Bottom but Caddies seems to be my spot of choice because there's more seating near the tvs for the most part.
Caddies huh, i drive by that place all the time but never really go in, sounds like am gonna have to check it out. When am on the pike I usually go to hooters, Willie and Reeds and bennigans, i have to stop by and get my Killians draft fix.
