This will obviously mean McCareins will be coming out for a few more plays than normal. Quite frankly, rather have Wallace Wright line up out there instead of him.

I still think Sean Ryan will see more time than usual as well with Clemens at quarterback.

Let the young guys play. To me the rest of the season is just preseason 2008

Yet another reason why Chad needs to be on the bench the rest of the year.

Justin Mccareins may start instead of Brad Smith.

The reason Clemens has been throwing to him as much as he has? Because McCareins works with him on the 2nd team in practice. It's like Chad and Coles in 2002, except that Coles was actually a good receiver.

Smart move, as he would probably take a beating from the Hardest hitter in the NFL Sean Taylor. As well as the other enforcer LaRon Landry. With the rookie QB out there I expect alot of the passes will put the WRs in decapitation position.

Thanks for the incite but you are 100% COMPLETELY wrong. If Chad were still there then you would be correct.

    Thats backwards.

The QB Formerly known as Captain Checkdown is the guy that puts the WRs in decapitation position.

Against Baltimore young boy here, was putting the ball, on a line, around the numbers, 50 yards down the field.....

For the rest of the posters, Coles eing out, doesnt hurt Clemens too much, he looks for Cotchery first....Probably because his familiarity is greater.....

Coles went 6-56, with a long of 24 against Baltimore.

    Cotchery went 7 for 165.

I hope the hardest hitter and the enforcer like the taste of dirt, as that is all they will be hittin all day.

Weird it won't let me quote. I believe Miamipuck, you meant to say "insight"... yes?? But anyway... This defense shut down the top ranked passers 2 weeks in a row. Even though the Pats won by a large margin, they really only had a few big plays. Every one of their receivers got nailed when they touched the football. Look at the video on NFL.com. Also, that game we were missing our #2 and #3 CB's... our #2 CB Rogers is out for the year.... But Smoooootyyy will be back this week....

I don't think there has been enough talk about coles and his head injury. these injuries will continue to mount and become more frequent regardless of who is throwing him the ball. we need to start thinking about finding a #1 type WR replacement for coles in the very near future.
