Good news indeed. Some interesting things in this article though:

The bolded parts are exactly why I laugh every time I hear people bitch about Coles as though he's some sort of troublemaker, or malcontent, when he complains. The guy is all class, and leaves it all out on the field.

Chad, Coles, and Vilma missing that last game is kind of surreal.

People can critisize Coles all they want and say we should trade him in the OS, but the guy is a gamer through and through. He really always gives 110%.

Yeah well with him in this game the jets win. I have never seen so many dropped passes out of these guys as I did on Sunday.

I would rather lose a game in a lost season than risk LC's health. He is to good for us to be playing around with him and a concussion. It's a stupid move to go right back out there. I would hate to lose another all-time Jet Great because of concussions. We've allready lost 2 in Toon and Chrebet. Yes Chrebet wasn't a stat hoarder like all-time greats should be, but he indeed was a Jet great, he lit up the stands. Coles does the same in my opinion.

At least there's one thing we fully agree on.

He's going to be out for almost a month. That's enough time. Sadly, given that this was his second one, his career probably only has two more quality seasons left before he starts heading into Chrebet territory.

I hate to see any injuries, but concussions have to be the worst in all of sports.

So he decides the only game he's gonna miss in 7 years is gonna be against his former team? Or was it just a coincidence? Probally was but we could of used him out there sunday.

Ummm, he didn't "decide" to sit out. If you read the article, he flatly stated that he wanted to play, and was forced to sit.

It was definitely coincidence, and yes, we clearly could have used him out there. However, there's no reason to get him hurt worse. If he was healthy, he'd have played.

    "Yea, Maybe"

    No, Definitely....

Did you SEE him lying motionless on the turf near the end of the Buffalo game? I don't care if we were headed into the Super Bowl versus his former team, if he has a bad concussion, make him sit out.... That can, not only shorten a player's career, but also the rest of his life.... You don't play around with such things

Of course, the root of Coles' concussion troubles lies with the illegal and dirty helmet-to-helmet hit that Zach Thomas put on Coles last Xmas in Miami.

The next week at home against Oakland, Coles dropped a TD pass in the end zone and was really relegated to duty as a decoy.

Good to hear Coles is practicing. He lays it all out on the line when he plays, and he's a great teammate.

Heres' to a good practice Laveranues, and to a good rest of the season as well

good god you are surely a high functioning retard

nobody should read anything you say as it is obvious you have your agenda and will use anything you can to make the post fit your agenda.

ill make sure to keep track next year or the year after if the jets play the redskins to see whether coles intentionally knocks himself out, just so that he doesnt have to play against a former team.

Thank you for confirming that I made the right call by putting him on my extremely short ignore list.
