Anyone watching this 15 year old tennis phenom? She was impressive at Wimbledon and she is on her way to win her 2nd round match against the Hungarian unseeded girl Babos.

This girl is still raw but if she brings it all together she might be better than Serena. Wowzer!

“Call me Coco” was written on her snickers yesterday. Also her trainer and her parents wore t-shirts that said “Call me Coco”

What the heck is this branding shit at the age of 15?

Kinda creepy, but I guess I understand it. Pro athletes can disappear in a heartbeat, you never know when your moment in the sun is going to end. If you have a chance to optimize your earnings, you really should take it. She could get hurt tomorrow and never be the same again.

Good for her, but I would only point out that the names they're evoking for her now ("first player to do .... since ....") are Anna Kournikova and Jennifer Capriati - a complete bust, and one of the biggest cautionary tales of too much too soon in tennis history.
