    Ex-Jets WR Clowney lands in AFC West

    Former New York Jets wide receiver David Clowney appears to be on the verge of either joining the Kansas City Chiefs, or getting a tryout. Since the Chiefs could use him, it seems plausible that he’ll be signed. Clowney indicated on his Twitter account that he was on his way to Kansas City. “God is so good,” he wrote. “8am Flight to Kansas City.” — National Football Post

    He might not have risen to the occasion as a Jet, but he was a stand-up human being with his dedication to his various charities so - I wish him well. Maybe he finds new spark after getting cut.

    This has been rumored for days now. He posted on twitter that he was on his way to KC about two days ago.

    Just played him in Madden and asked him about this, he said he's not on KC and "it's possible" he can be back on Jets after Week 1.
