I hope they hold Schotty's feet to the fire on this bllsh*t. We had a chance to win this game, despite the wretched 1st Half. We lost because our offense coordinator didn't realize we were down two possessions. I am sick - because I'd rather we had gone down fighting with the ball in Nacho's hands - and Schotty's lack of time awareness killed us.
Honestly, the big reason is because the defense couldn't get the final stop. How do you not get one there? 2 passes to end the game. Makes me sick.
The 4th quarter was really disgraceful. How hard is it to get the play in quicker? They wasted so much time between plays I'm sure Tomlin will send his thanks to Shottenheimer tonight. Fucking gift wrapped the game for them.
all we needed was an extra 7 seconds. You can't tell me that we didn't waste 7 seconds throughout the second half waiting for the plays to get in.
Who the fuck cares about 7 seconds? One stop and Sanchez could have ended the game. ONE STOP. Who cares about anything else right now?
Somebody said it in the game thread. Just let Sanchez call his own plays. That was some shitty game-time coaching by Schotty. Bad calls, bad play calling. The guy needs to move on.
