First Sox game thread in a while. F. Carmona (10-8) - 3.92 @ J. Lackey (10-5) - 4.26 Lackey has been pitching well of late. Actually hitting his spots and keeping the walks to a minimum. Kalish has had some early success, hopefully becomes a regular in the lineup next year. Papelbon sucks.

I never root for players to get injured, but at the same time I'm not exactly crying about the prospect of Boston falling completely out of the race. I really can't see them catching New York or Tampa without Youk. I saw Mike Lowell hit a homer in his first AB back tonight. Good for him, he's a great guy.
