CJ Mosley - How good is this guy?

I know many called for his head but the guy is a Solid LB that is going to help this young team. I ve watched enough Ravens games to see him play and produce. He finally came alive.

 

I am very happy he sat out last year. Not only did that give him time to fully heal it likely got us the number 2 pick.

 

Dude looked like Peyton Manning the way he was directing his guys on defense presnap.

 

He's a stud. I was on board with letting him go after this season but I am hopeful he stays here long term. He's a huge part of this defense

 

Dude is playing at an all-pro level about a quarter of the way through the season. He hasn’t missed a beat. He put in the work to change his body and kind of change his game. A lot of folks wrote him off but the second he showed up in crazy shape it was very obvious he had no intentions of mailing anything in.

 

Happy to see him come back and pick right back up where he left off. He is a big time leader too.

 

He is playing really well and has been all season. I can only imagine what this linebacking corps would look like with Lawson out there, too.

 

With 2 years off he's a young 29.

He's been fantastic and I've been so wrong on him all off-season.

We do need a coverage backer pretty badly. Mosely + Williams were great yesterday but we got burned in the deep robber hook zone. Part of that is on the safeties too.

he never not been an awesome football player. Anyone who is surprised is just not paying attention. Why wouldnt he be awesome??

 

I definitely questioned whether he could come back and be the same player after 2 years off. We all saw first hand Lev Bell falling off a cliff after 1 season off. It wasn’t unreasonable to question if he could come back as strong.

I know I am happy to look stupid questioning him.

 

Nice breakdown of the play I noticed Mosley moving his guys into position after recognizing a formation. His decision to change the defensive playcall led directly to a sack. Saleh mentioned this play in his presser today.

I have a feeling he's been working hard those two years. It really shows on the field.

 

How do you feel about Saleh stating that Mosely will not have that power in the future and should not have done what he did?
