The defense dropped noticeably when CJ went out or should I say improved tremendously when he returned.

He is not getting enough love as leader of this defense.

Mosely is the quarterback of this defense and the team's leading tackler. Without him, we might be looking at some very different outcomes.

He gets little love if any. Negative takes of his plays against the pass have been ridiculous

Sherwood did "ok" when he subbed in... although he looked a bit nervous. ;)

I probably give him more hate than he deserves, he has a lot of good things going for him.

He definitely is declining, but still a solid linebacker

Saleh mentioned today, how the kids on the team have affected him, & how he's less reserved, & showing his personality more now. Just a quality guy, & a quality leader.

It's really nice to watch this team grow & get into a groove.

You can see it on the field and on the sidelines. Players picking each other up after plays... congratulating each other.
There was a great shot during the game of Saleh coaching up Sauce after he made that interception.

I think Robert Saleh is a really good coach. He's forthright with his players... and they appreciate that.

What a difference a few years and a complete culture change can accomplish. ;)

Currently 2nd in the league in Tackles.
2 tackles away from leading the league.

    Excellent year so far.

CJ has gotten a lot of negative attention here over the years due to the contract, as well as his motivation when he opted out due to covid. He's been a terrific Jet and plays his ass off on every down. You can't watch a game without seeing him flying around. Not only that, we know he's changed body type to better fit the scheme. He's one of my faves and i hope he stays beyond this season.

I really hope CJ is back next season. He is the anchor of that defense. He's consistently making hard hits and taking down opponents. His veteran leadership and acumen make such a huge difference in every game.

I think the addition of a vet like Kwon really helped CJ as well.

Many believed our LB unit was going to be bad to start the season - myself included - but has played well for the most part. A very welcome surprise to say the least.

I didn't ever think that CJ Mosley would live up to that contract after getting injured early in the first season and then missing the next season by sitting out for Covid.

Ever since he returned the beginning of 2021, CJ has done nothing but earn every dime in that contract and then some. I remember the Titans game last year, that dude battled with Derrick Henry that whole game, and was a huge reason the Jets came away with a win that day. He had lost a lot of weight and was undersized, but still he took that beating. He did it all season, knowing they weren't going to win jack shit.

He really does it every game, all the while making impact plays when he needs to. I have gone from waiting until the Jets can get out from under his contract to hoping he gets a new deal. He's a perfect leader for this team.

Mosley's been waiting for this team to show up for 3 years. Now that they're here he's back to flying around the field and making tackles.

2019 first game as a Jets Mosley was everywhere on the field and got hurt trying to do too much on a defense that wasn't there yet. 2022 he doesn't have to do that any more. Hopefully he stays healthy.

Before Mosely got hurt in 2019 he was beating the Bills all by himself. o_O
