Well, Goodson better get his ass back soon and McKnight better get his shit together. We are down to Powell and Spann.

Does the NFL fine for this shit in the preseason? Some of these guys would be homeless if they get fined.

It's never good to see a kid go down during preseason games but truth be told, John Griffin pretty much had zero chance of making our game day roster. We need Ivory, Goodson, Powell and McKnight ready to go come regular season but in regards to Griffin, kid was a project. On July 27th of 2011 he signed with the Bengals. On September 3rd he was released from the Bengals. He then went on to play for the Omaha Nighthawks of the United Football League for the 2011 season. On January 2 of 2012 he signed with our Jets with a reserve/future contract. On August 8th he was waived. He then resigned with the Omaha Nighthawks of the UFL for the 2012 season. Then he came back to the Jets practice squad on November 2012.

Unless he was on the verge of pulling a Jeremy Lin and emerging out of nowhere I don't see this as a serious (team) injury whatsoever. We just need Ivory, Goodson, Powell and McKnight ready to go sooner rather than later.

^I see where you're coming from but with Ivory's injury and Goodson being most likely in rehab, we could really have used more depth at running back. What happens if one of them gets injured? I don't take this one light at all.

Yeah, it's complete and utter bullshit. That player should be fined and suspended or kicked the fuck out of the NFL. Let's see, an intentional and blatantly illegal tackle leading to an injury and costing Griffin the season with an already thin RB core. That's pretty much as dirty as it gets. And of course, nobody says a word on ESPN or any other media outlet. You want to talk about bounties? Investigate these cheating ass Lions. Fuck the media for their double standards and hypocrisy not calling out the player and demanding fines and/or suspensions as they would undoubtedly say for any team not named the NY Jets. I'll wear the damn tin foil hat on this one. I bet someone got paid heartily for that one. Probably Womanish Mehta or some other jack off beat writer that banks his career on the Jets failing.
