I know he was against back ups and 3rd string but maybe just maybe he has something about him, two years in Canada so he has "experience". 2 TD, a couple of decent runs and a bit of composure shown, thoughts?
From his 1st series I wanted to know who tf this guy w/energy and running the offense efficiently while showing balls of steel was.. I actually was clapping for a JETS preseason 4th stringer... If he gets to NE, it's over.
Saw the highlights on YouTube and this 4th stringer looked far ahead of ZW as far as playing the position. I know it was against the Eagle scrubs but the Jets would be making a huge mistake letting his kid walk. If nothing else, let him practice with the next level up personnel and see what happens. This new guy won the game last night and it looked like a different offense and team out there.
He was fun to watch. He didn't stare down his receivers. He looked off defenders. He put the ball in good spots. He probably won't be on the team in couple of weeks.
Don't shoot me. He reminds me of Tebow with that #15 on his back, and the way he plays; albeit being a righty. Good for the kid to get some more footage out there.
I'm glad (or sad?) I'm far enough along into my Jets fandom to not get excited about Chris Streveler. Seems worthy of a practice squad spot, especially with Zach missing time, but that's about it to me right now
Zach would be polished too going up against an opposing teams 3’s and 4’s running the same zone read/TE leaking out in a flat route lol. Good guy and story though. his last throw was solid.
Was thinking more Taysom Hill. Makes me sad that he'll be a Patriot in 2 weeks and become a swiss army weapon against the league...
I could see the Jets keeping 3 QBs if Zach went down for the season. It would probably be mandated by Woody.
