I have been watching a lot of Justin Fields tape and I keep coming away with how impressed I am with Chris Olave. He reminds me so much of Odell Beckham when he was coming out, they are very close in sized and speed on paper.

He is a Polished route runner, football speed, strong hands, excellent at tracking the football and is a proven winner. I think he could be a steal in the draft in the 2nd round.

I have nothing to add except that I love Olave. Like you said, he pops when you watch him - just constantly showing up and jumping off the screen.

He'd be a nice complement to Mims and Crowder. If we get Fields, he'd have a weapon with whom he has chemistry.

I think fields or Lawrence I’d be looking at him. He’s dynamic and can play with any QB.

He’s a nice player for sure. Would compliment the WR nicely. Him and Marshall will be the two we have major eyes on imo

Also, do we want another wr in round 2 or do we wait until round 1 next year? Big difference between guys like Olave and say a Devonta Smith.

think the pick may be better suited for a TE or RB with a WR stopgap in FA. Talent can be found everywhere though with good scouting so round 2 is not out of the equation. Juju, Claypool etc are all round 2

I get to see all the Buckeye Games, living in Ohio. I love Olave, great route runner, solid blocker and awesome hands. He can play inside and outside very versatile.

I'm not a Buckeye fan, and I've had my share of negative comments on former Buckeyes. Olave is a winner, I'd draft him in a heartbeat if he's available at the top of Rd 2. I like to get a CB or Edge, I have my eye on a few, in late Rd 1.

Another Buckeye to watch, has been out on Covid leave, Center Myers, a possible 3rd round need.

I don't want Fields, it's Trevor time and I'm not rooting for us to tank.

Random, but what brought you to Ohio - or did you grow up there?

I went to school out there in Delaware for four years and had some run-ins/meetups with famous Bucks of the day because they were high school boys/teammates with my fraternity brothers. Crazy place to party and try to attend school, haha.

Born and raised in Queens, moved to Central Ohio after graduating College. Been a Jets/ Mets/ Ranger's fan my whole life. Although, I do root for the Blue Jackets now.

Bump* after that 40 time I think he needs to be back in consideration. I think Olave with Fields was much better than this past year where Wilson stole the show with his intermediate route running abilities.
