is Chris Baker set to have a break-out year for real? I mean is Schottenheimer really gonna implement the TE a lot more, or was Antonio Gates just too good not to include? How has the preseason looked in those regards? thanks a lot
I think this is the year that baker starts to shine because shcotty always relied on the te when his offense was in a tough spot. So to answer your question he will be dam good this year
Hopefully Baker will get a chance to run some routes and not spend most of his playing time blocking. I just want to see the offense go up and down the field and PUT SOME POINTS ON THE BOARD PREFERABLY MORE TOUCHDOWNS THAN FIELD GOALS.
I have only seen 2 of the preseason games and didn't focus on Baker, but from what I've read he's been struggling with his blocking quite a bit. Don't take my word for it, I think T-Bird or one of the other guys that went to camp can make better judgement.
