Does anyone have a link to a video of this catch?

It was the Chris Baker catch in the end zone vs. the Browns in 2006, where we ended up losing 20-13 because it was called incomplete (when it was complete).

I still hate Mike Carey to the day for that call (amongst other terrible calls he constantly makes)

That just made me angry all over again, he was clearly a good 4 feet in bounds coming straight down, that was just a monsterous hit.

geez if we ended up winning that game we would have gone 11-5 in 2006...that would've been ridiculous considering Mangini probably still would've been fired

The call sucked....rule was changed.....this play had some influence on the rule change.

I was furious with that call. Bringing up painful memories. That should have been a TD.

Funny, Chris Collinsworth literally carried on for about a half an hour when it happened to CLEVELAND in 2007. "They were robbed, what a disgrace, blah blah blah blah..." I wanted to punch him in the face.

Winslow forced out in the end zone, no TD, bad call; but it wasn't even as remotely horrible as the Baker call. Non-call. Whatever, you get me. Ugh, why is anyone even talking about this? Just so we can give ourselves a full body rash?

Someone - maybe Abyzmul - had a jpg of that catch that clearly showed how far he was in bounds.

Yeah, that was horrible to relive. What an awful call. It was nice watching Justin Miller break that 100 yarder though.

I didn't see it here so I don't know, but it was at by LEAST two feet, no question. The picture I saw elsewhere was one of Baker from the back, not the the side. Yecch, terrible. And of course, watching the lowlight on the news, it couldn't have been more obvious if they staged it.

Luckily it didn't have any bearing on the Jets getting into the PO's - not that that mattered in the end, but still. So again, why are we talking about this, me included?!

Mike Carey fucked that call up. Baker had one of the best game winning TD catches taken away from him, An we had an 11-5 season taken away.

WOW, same here. I don't think I smoked at halftime. I think I smoked with my housemates sometime early in the 4th quarter when we were in the middle of our comeback. I definately felt the need to smoke some chronic afterwords . . .

That call sucked. I was watching with a Browns fan too so obviously that made it worse. If that game goes into OT, I don't think there was anyway we would have lost.

The replay of Robertson getting completely destroyed at the LOS makes me appreciate Jenkins more.

    +1 So true.

Although, to be fair to Roberton, I thought he played really hard for us and improved dramatically from 2006 to 2007. He just wasn't big enough to play the nose in the 3-4. However, I always got the impression he gave it his all.

Agreed. Also, if his knee(?) condition is as bad as they were reporting when we traded him, he played through some serious injuries.

I remember watching that game at a bar and screaming.

    A lot.
