at this point rogers is startng resemble david terrell... i use to be a huge fan of his but he just has not produced
Didn't he fail a steroid test?I agree with you guys.I liked this guy a lot coming out of college.I thought he would have been better than Andre Johnson but he is very injury prone and isn't even worth a look.
he had a workout with miami, came in out of shape and sabin told him to get in football shape and try again
He's proven to suck. What's the point, other then the fact that he's a name player? The Jets are fine at WR. They don't need a worthless project.
Rodgers has the kind of athletic ability that you just don't find. He is a very strong upside. But he also has a lot of problems. Who do you cut to make room for Rodgers? Dwight or Brad Smith? Or do you carry 6 WR's. Then who do you cut to make room for him? The other problem is Rodgers is not going to help us this year. This year with the easiest schedule possible, we have an oppurtunity for a very bad team to make the playoffs. Next year when we play a real NFL schedule we will most likley be very bad given the complete lack of effort this team has played with this year. While I like the idea of taking a chance on a player with big upside I would not be willing to cut Dwight or Smith for Rodgers. If we have a WR that goes down with injury then he would make a lot more sense. The fact the no one has shown any interest in Rodgers speaks a lot about what may be characters and work ethic problems,
