Sorry if this was posted earlier http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.co...t-colts-chargers-get-second-round-draft-pick/ The San Diego Chargers want the Jets to beat the Colts on Saturday. Ten months ago, the Chargers sent cornerback Antonio Cromartie to the Jets in exchange for a conditional 2011 draft pick. And Rich Cimini reports that one of the conditions of that trade is that if the Jets advance to the divisional playoff round, the Chargers get the Jets’ second-round pick. If the Jets lose, the Chargers get the Jets’ third-round pick. In other words, if the Jets lose, the Chargers get a pick somewhere between No. 85 overall and No. 88 overall. If the Jets win, the Chargers get a pick somewhere between No. 57 overall and No. 64 overall.
I love how the media posts things as news that only retards wouldn't be able to figure out on their own.
Well, I didn't know the pick moved up a round if the Jets got to the 2nd round of the playoffs. You really think all Jets fans knew this already?
If they could find this thread, they could probably find this one: http://forums.theganggreen.com/showthread.php?t=62946
Jets reaching the Divisional Playoffs doesn't guarantee it to be a 2nd rounder since it was just ONE of the conditions. Maybe others are already met, but my guess is that having Cromartie on our roster in March is probably another condition in there too (meaning he'll be a Jet in 2011 at least AKA new contract). Just my guess.
I would think Charger fans aren't fond of the Colts or Pats, and would probably want to see LT win something. I know if Curtis Martin were on the Chargers vs the Colts or Pats I'd be rooting for them.
