This is why the Jets wanted an upgrade. He does poorly vs elite defenses. He will never win a championship. Of course, Favre turned out to be a downgrade, but nonetheless, Chad is mediocre.
i forget who said it but they basically said chad is the kind of guy who wouldn't have struggled in those last games of the season but chad wouldn't have been able to won those games against the pats and titans i do think chad is a good qb, but he will never win a superbowl, the games are too tough
I hope this serves as a reminder to all those Chad apologists. These people have a right to bash Favre, but they forgot how Chad bailed on us in big games vs good defenses so many times. He's basically an average QB who is very efficient vs bad defenses.
There are about 30 of us on the boards who have said this time and time again. We are called darksiders.
when did Chad bail on the Jets. he was always there and played hard. playing poorly is not the same as bailing on a team. bailing on a team means giving up on a team. big difference between the two.
Well, he's thrown two picks in seven minutes during this game. His main problem is obviously he's not comfortable in the face of pressure. BAL has been stuffing the box during the whole first half, and Chad can't get anything off. Any attempts downfield are either picked off or nearly picked off. He's only been able to dump off to the RB's so far. Miami needs to put pressure on Flacco if they have any hope of winning this game. The Wildcat is simply inneffective against the superior BAL Defense.
Chad was the quintessential team player and leader. His biggest flaw was the noodle arm, which cost us a lot of games. If he had a stronger arm, he'd be the best QB in the league.
LOL, I agree. The reason he's won that twice is because he's always getting hurt and always inconsistent year-to-year.
This is nothing yet. We're not in "Chinese Firedrill" yet. That comes in the 2nd half, when the Raven defense smells the blood in the water and starts taking more chances and putting even more pressure on Chad. Then you're going to see the vintage Chad-nese Firedrill in all its glory. Fumbles galore, people running around in the pocket bumping into one another, tipped passes, INTs on his own 15, stuff like that.
