Well let's see now. New England: Pennington was 5.1 yards per attempt in our win. That is a weak quarterbacking day, and we won on defense and the ground. The week 3 win was some pretty good passing.. although we lost anyway. Miami's secondary is awful. When Will Allen is the prize of you're secondary, you're going to get passed on all day. How about some real secondaries? Chicago? Jacksonville? Ouch
you cannot always use stats alone- it's about managing the game, making big plays. he had much better #s in the first NE game but he played better in the 2nd game b/c he made plays and didn't allow us to get into a big hole like the first game. we were told how great the Minny D was all week and now they suck b/c Chad torched them?
ARE YOU SERIOUS? Your picking apart the Miami win because their secondary is not perfect lol? Tell that to the Pats last week lol. And a win IN FOXBORO at ANY time is always a GREAT win! You obviously are blindly hating Chad and making things up along the way. We have won against good defenses this year. We have won against teams that needed to win. Pennington did the "game manager" thing the first game against the Dolphins, and it was good enough to win. He didn't turn the ball over and late in the game he finally decided to trust Coles and they scored 2 TDs. If he can play like that again on Monday I think we'll win but lately it's been feast or famine with him. while miami's defense doesn't give up alot of yards in the air and allows one of the fewest YPA in the league they've given up 19 passing TDs and only have 8 INTs on the year.
I'm not picking apart the Miami game. You argued that beating Miami means he beats good defenses. I just argued that Miami's defense isn't that great. And don't give me the not-a-real Jets fan shit. My 10 year ticket holder status says enough. I am generally an optimist, too. Besides, I'm not bashing him here, I hate his sunshiners as much as his despisers. I consider him an average quarterback who is going to win some and lose some, and likely not get us to a superbowl.
Yea....again this week will depend on Penny's arm and smarts.....its a big game but i think Mangini will have these guys ready to play....Would be great if the phins start Lemon, but i wont hold my breath....Another BIG TOUGH game next week....:finssuck:
Did you see when he got rushed & the ball sailed on him & was INT? That I think maybe one of his greatest weaknesses he has when throwing is when he is getting pressure & probably concerns most NYJ fans since they know the INT will hurt us

I don't think many wanted Chad benched until we were realistically eliminated from the playoffs. Actually I can only think of one guy who was saying that so there's no need to make such broad statements.
