Don't hold your breath. Have we heard anything about him signing a friendlier contract? There was a lot of talk about the initial proposal and Chad's whole 'get this done' to his agent crap but haven't heard anything since. He seemed to be the only one we heard any ACTUAL quotes from. Everyone else on the team just had done to them whatever was to be done. Cut, restructure, whatever. Chad has been very vocal. Maybe TOO vocal.

Mike and Mad Dog were speculating 10 minutes ago about Chad. Mike said he thought the odds are about 60-40 Chad is gone, Russo said he'd like the Jets to keep him but "not go crazy."
I doubt Chad & the Jets are still negotiating. There's got to be a deal done or not done. Mr T & the Man have been very matter-of-fact with all other offseason business and it's hard for me to believe they will wait until the 11th hour. I just wish someone would come out and tell us already!!!
I agree. If I'm Tannenbaum I tell Chad's agent I need a deal by Wednesday night, not Thursday night, because of the insanity going on today with everything else. If they can't do that then consider us gone. Take it or leave it.
