In a way, does it give you a sense that he browses the message boards quite often? I mean he can't give this type of fan credit to the media. That would be pretty cool IMO.
If he did he'd probably hate most of us. The crowds at the games are a lot more positive and supportive, in my opinion.
If we knew he read the boards or posted here, we'd all be more supportive too. Well maybe not all, but most of us. Nobody wants to see him fail, but he has had a spotty record against good teams.
Even the biggest Chad haters would have cheered Chad wildly as he got up. A lot of us are negative about Chad's ability, but it's hard to find someone who doesn't love him anyway. He's a great guy. Great QB? No, but he's great to root for.
Most people don't beat them all the time, but they sure don't tend to score nothing against them most of the time either. By spotty I mean his track record against good teams is bad even taking into consideration they are good teams. I hope he can turn it around, but since 2002, when he was great and beat most teams until the Raiders showed everyone the strategy to beat Pennington, he simply has not been good against good teams.
