CB could also be in play?

    Cutting Cro could save the Jets $10M off the cap. I am NOT saying Cro is definitely gone after this season but that cap savings makes me think Idzik would be considering CB if he sees a really good value after round 1.

    Does anyone else think the CB position could be in play for Idzik/Jets this draft?

    Even if Cro is restructured later, there's the possibility that this CB prospect could be groomed to be CB#2 as Jets don't bother negotiating a 2nd contract with Kyle Wilson. 2014 is last season for Kyle's rookie contract also.

    His recent restructure makes it where he can't be traded this year due to the cap hit. I think that his big number for 2014 makes another restructure/long term deal likely in 2014. If he plays poorly, big cut in pay or outright release.
