Can you imagine...if New England, the Fish, or the Smurfs won this Super Bowl.

And Joe Namath had to come out and present the trophy to one of these dirtbag franchises

    man, that would've hurt.

Hey the Dolphins are only going to get better with Parcells in management. I bet right now if they were betting in Vegas they would bet that the Dolphins would win a Super Bowl before the Jets.
    It hurts already.
We may be in last right now in our division as far as management is concerned.
I don't how it's going to get better

Until he gets bored and retires again.

Thats just how Vegas makes their money. Screw the Fins, their season will hang on Chad's weak rotator cuff. In a Pennington fashion he will probably suck next year, miss alot of time due to injury and then come back in 2010 and win comeback player of the year again. I think teams will get better at adjusting to the wildcat, proving once again why you don't run that garbage in the NFL.

Don't be so pessimistic! I mean this team has the talent and could've gone 11-5 easily if Favre didn't suck at the end. We still have the same players from last year and I like the fact that guys like Mangold, Ferguson, Revis and Harris will have more experience under their belts. We have a new coach and although he hasn't proven anything, at least you can be optimistic about the Jets until the season starts. Unless we pick the next Kyle Brady in the draft, I will ride the optimistic train until week 1. There will be plenty of time to doubt this team once the season starts lol.

Picking another Kyle Brady would be better than picking another Gladys Gholston at this point.

Not with Chad at the helm. He still needs to find a QB, just like us

How many Super Bowl Champions has Bill parcells built? I'll save you the time, the answer is ZERO. As a matter of fact in 10 years running the show his teams have won a grand total of ONE playoff game(us in 1998).

You meant to say if Favre, the defense, the coaching and the running game didn't suck in the end.

I think people for get that this team has a lot of talent. We just don't have depth. How many other teams this year have like 7 pro bowlers? Funny that i was reading the live Parcell's chat log at nfl.com, and he didn't seem all that impressed with his own team.

I agree, but with Parcells there, it will only be a matter of time. Hey he picked Romo. A guy who was on no one's radar, but is now one of the top QBs in the league. Parcell's ability to see talent, puts us in a bad situation. We need to see the talent before Parcells does otherwise we will lose out. God forbid Parcells wants Vick. We would have to face that twice a season.
We really need to be smart in evaluating the talent otherwise we will lose out on players as well

I'm still not sold on Romo. You talk about Clemens decision making, what about his?

    Romo has IT
The problem with him is they throw the football too much when they should run more. Romo completes more big plays than anyone I believe.

Chad will revert back to what he's done his entire career expect the Cardinals and Dolphins to slip back into the pack next season. Let's face it the Cards were only 9-7 and no one will be fooled by the Fins wildcat formation next season. I see these 2 franchises coming back down to earth.

Yeah – because historically Bill Parcells has done better and better after his first year wonder turn around pause not.

Here is what Parcells is good at; hand picking a team that seems horrible on paper, is coming off a horrible season with a light schedule and winning 9 – 11 games his first year. After that – he’s good for a 500 record for a few years before he quits.

Parcells is probably wrecking thier salary cap situation. He destroyed the Jets salary cap. We were losing top players for about three years after he left

nothing pissed me off more than losing Farrior.

at that point most Jets fans were mad he had a mediocre 3 yrs and then came up huge in his contract year. but he was one of the best players on d his final yr here.

its a shame we let him walk in FA and now hes pretty much the defensive captain in PIT

Farrior wasn't much of a player until his contract year, and a lot of people questioned his dedication.

Not sold on what Parcells can do for Miami.

They have Chad for one more year and as we all know...he'll be down by week 7. They're trying to send Beck to the Cowboys, so unless they think Henne is the answer they have issues at QB just like we do. And I am unimpressed with his QB evals. Didn't Parcells want to draft Rick Mirer instead of Bledsoe? Wasn't it Belichick who convinced him to sign Testaverde to the Jets? Wouldn't we have been better off in '99 with Ray Lucas from the onset rather than Mirer?

They have no genuine receiving threat unless Ginn turns a corner this offseason.

i stated all of that in my intial post, turns out those who questioned him were wrong. unless your implying he literally didnt wanna be here to the point he sucked for 3 years to force himself into question and then put up a good resume before he left.

    that i couldnt tell you.
