I know they like running back by committee but Carter should get the first nod. I was impressed by our running attack vs. the Patriots. I don't know what they told or what adjustments they made to the OL this past week but it worked. I think we all underestimated Panthers defense.

He's probably the best of the bunch, but Ty Johnson is right there. I'm cool with them splitting carries.

I agree, but I like Carter a tad more. Even Coleman had a nice day. When all three do well I guess the common denominator is the OL. Kudos the them.

Carter played his heart out. It seemed like he was giving 110% on every run. I think he and Ty should continue to share the load since Ty looked good too.

He will be. Mid round runningbacks generally force the coaching staff to give them the starting job by mid-season of their rookie year if they're going to be a feature back in this league. Sometimes sooner, sometimes slightly later.

Yesterday's performance looked like he doesn't want to be a backup or 50/50 split guy much longer.

I agree on Carter. Not only is he agile, but he also played more physical than I expected.
With that said, I HATE having Coleman on this roster. I’d much rather see Josh Adams take his carries.
Especially in short yardage situations where we could use his size. We need one big back in this rotation.

Ride with the hot hand, rookies hit walls. Ty Johnson will probably start racking up the carries in November if he's still healthy.

Ty Johnson was like a 6th round pick on his 2nd team. Carter doesn’t have a value advantage over him.

I've been lobbying for Johnson to start but I ant deny he can be pretty bad in pass protection.
