Good question....I'd like to think so.

Find out from Facebook and YouTube what their intentions were.

I thought a Trump presidency would be bad for this Country but it's worst than I could have imagine. Reached a point where they have to guard places from Republicans like they got a tip that al qaeda was attacking.

Well, my guess with a view to what they were willing to do to cops who incurred their wrath by only getting in the way (but whom they professed to love and care for) is that it would not have been pretty!

Hard to argue that would t have done something horrible, based on what they had already done.

My poi t was more about their end goal. I dont believe they really had one.

I don't think foot on the desk guy or podium stealing guy were the ones in that crowd who would be instigating assassinations. And the politicians' lives are of greater concern because if you start assassinating them, you cross the line from violence to sedition or even treason.

His name is Via Getty, according to idiots on Twitter that is.

A reporter posted "Via Getty, one the rioters steals a podium from the Capitol", meaning he got the image via Getty images. Immediately it started circulating on Twitter that his name was Via Getty.

Not to mention we have 10% unemployment and more deaths than WWII from a virus in just 10 months. yeah trump's presidency became worse than I imagined too, and I imagined pretty bad.

We would have had 20% unemployment and similar amount of deaths if Hillary was elected in 2016....Actually strike that- we would have not seen the virus because we would still be bending the knee to China under the Hillary regime.

One things for sure, Liberals suck at job creation in the private sector!

Replubicans didn't mention that the election was stolen today during the debate but that's not enough.
They should have a live televise conference saying this loud and clear to the American people since Trump won't.

I agree but what republican could do that and have it resonate with the trump worshippers? Mcconnell, usually drab, had a strong take down but now they think he's just an establishment man trying to take their hero down.

Would probably be the same reaction to any of them...

A simple google search shows that the economy does better under Democratic presidency. Look at our deficit. It's gonna be annoying as heck watching Republicans all of a sudden care about that.

Well that's not true. If it were so simple to prove, then prove it please. What you got?

I made this post on the economy a while back. The economy was cranking before the botched coronavirus response.

As far as the deficit is concerned, it's been pretty much ballooning since the Iraq war. Obviously it's terrible now given all the money we spend on "Covid relief." I put that in quotations due to all of the money that went to everything BUT helping the American public. And for what it's worth, the Republicans didn't want to spend all that money on the second round. They got it down to $900 billion from the proposed $3 trillion by Pelosi + friends.

They won't "all of a sudden care about it." How they fix it, I do not know. But spending is speculated to go ramped now as the Democrats control all three branches (essentially) even with a Senate split.

we literally went over this. Democrats have the economy running well and republicans ruin it. In the case of Trump, he was doing fine but growth was slowing down before the pandemic hit.

No, he went because it was the last time to see Trump as President (as opposed to a citizen after next week). And no, as public employees themselves I doubt any of them would have chanted obscenities or called for death/physical hurt.

My cousin is a Virginia Tech survivor. He knows all about senseless violence, trust me.

I don't disagree...but a few dozen criminal thugs is NOT the 99.99% who were law-abiding, heard Trump, and then left.
