Can Alex Smith be a hall of famer?

    After a poor start to his career riddled with injuries and inconsistent play, could he be a hall of famer? What would it take for him to be seriously considered?

    Its going to take ALOT, he would need to honestly start with winning an MVP and a Super Bowl.

    could he? yes. win 2 super bowls and an mvp, a few deep playoff runs and some great stats over the next 6 years.

    No. We know what Alex Smith is and nothing about him screams hall of famer. He'd have to become a different guy for the rest of his career.

    Btw, if there were a preseason Hall of Fame, we'd have 2 first ballot candidates.

    David Clowney and Brett Ratliff.

    Those dudes were awesome.

    He is going into his 10th season and hasn't really accomplished anything yet,would really have to be a world beater for the next five years and that may not even be enough.
