I'm not one to write a post let alone start a thread. But I'm tired of watching schottys offense. I understand that we have a rookie Qb, but i'm over the excuses for this guy. He just doesn't seem to understand game situations. Like last year we would run against the worst pass defenses, and pass on the worst run defenses. We have an above average OL, above average running game, above average talent at WR and TE even though Keller sometimes shows stone hands. Can't blame it on a rookie QB. This kid has potential. Little sloppy at times. But back to Schotty. The buffalo game we run for 300 hundred yards and still lose. Sanchez should've only thrown the ball 10 times that game. Have we even had a top 10 offense since he's been here? I'm for a coaching change after this year. Schotty needs to go. Callahan was known as a great offensive mind in Oakland. The raiders had the best running game in 2000 and the best passing game in 2002. Just isn't a head coach. Maybe Rex is the same type of coach, but i believe our problem is the play calling on offense more than anything. sorry for rambling. feel free to pick this apart

Callahan as a head coach was god awful, as a coordinator he could be decent better than Schotty at least

Callahan is just waiting in the wings. Good chance he will be OC next year if Schotty continues to shoot himself in the foot.

Callahan is a great offensive mind. The Raider offenses he coordinated in early 00's were dynamic. I have been wanting him to move to OC since last year.

Can we send Schotty to the Redskins for a bag of Sabor de Soledad cheese puffs?

I would really want him to be the OC. I can understand Rex coming in didn't want to make the wrong decision firing someone like schotty who had a good reputation (why does he!?) but hopefully this summer he is going to settle the situation... although I'm afraid he will give Schot another season :(

We better not give Schott another season. Our coaching could have at least won one of the 4 losses but instead they helped us lose. Rex is still learning so I give him a pass on some of his gaffes but Schotty has been doing the same dumb sh#t for years now. When something works, keep doing it until the other team learns to stop it. It's that simple. He gets too cute with his playcalling instead of doing what works.
