What are you guys doing about this bullshit going on between FOX and the Dolans, if you are a Cablevision subscriber of course? Just wondering if there was some kind of web site anybody knows streaming the 1 o'clock games or if there might (as far fetched as this seems) be another channel they'll show at least the Giants game on. I'm sure some of you have to be having the same dilemma, so any thoughts?

firstrow . net is where I go to stream (first heard of it in the Hard Knocks thread...thanks TGG!).

I'd normally go to a sports bar or Buffalo Wild Wings, but I have family coming over this afternoon.
I'll be sneaking into my office to check the games on my laptop like a fuckin' goblin.

I switched back to Cable after 6+ years of great service w/DirecTV. Cable gave me a deal that was too good to pass up. Nothing but bullshit since.

After the Food Net/HGTV debacle and then the ABC thing, now you're gonna fuck with my ability to watch football??!!?? This might be the straw that breaks the camel's back. I'm fucking mad right now. I can't even imagine how pissed I'd be if this compromised my ability to watch the Jets.

Go on stealthshot.net... 7 bucks a month or 35 for six months and you get HQ streams of Jets, Giants, red zone, yanks, mets and hockey... for me it's my only option (overseas) but I think it's a pretty good bargain for people in the US too...

You might if it's not settled in two weeks. I can't remember whether it's the home team or visitor that decides the network but I do remember we will be playing Green Bay then.

Can't you run out to the store and buy a cheap antenna? I bought a $17 HDTV Indoor Antenna when time warner was going through something similar. It picked up the local channels in hd.

here's the easy way to remember-

just think about the Thanksgiving Day games

1 AFC team and 3 NFC teams

both home teams are NFC teams

CBS gets the game with the AFC team

It really bothers me that as a ranger fan the owner of the team is possibly the most hated family in the tri-state area, and with good reason.

Not that I have any love for Cablevision, but Newscorp is trying to raise the carriage fees for the 12 FOX channels (free and cable) from $70 Million to $150 Million. That's quite a jump. FOX's advertising revenue is way down and this is how they want to make up the difference. They will ask the same of Verizon, TW cable and Direct TV. No matter who wins, the customers will pay more. This battle is about who gets more of the increase. Either way, you lose.
