From KFFL: Jets | Team will make a decision on C. Martin after Week 9 Mon, 30 Oct 2006 15:21:31 -0800 ESPNews reports the New York Jets will make a decision on RB Curtis Martin (knee) after Week 9. Martin is currently on the team's Physically Unable to Perform list.
We already knew that. I hope that Curtis doesnt rush himself back into it. It may be the best thing for him to retire
sadly, i agree...i just want the best for curtis, i dont wanna see him limp back for a few games and be ineffective
I thought he was going to try and start practicing this week? Am I wrong, or are they pushing it back another week?
No, I'd rather have Stan Blinka...... At least he'd put some life back in the defense with those cheap elbow shots
I think this is a really tough one. Curtis Martin is one of the most Durable and classy Backs to ever grace the field, And as much as i would love to see Martin in the backfield again, I think its time the Jets organization looks forward and Spends the rest of the season trying out our 5 Headed running attack and find out whos gunna be the starting running back next season. IMO Its time for martin to retire......I dont want to see him get hurt for a season that is a sputtering rebuilding year.
