Another nightmare draft night could be approaching. There is some buzz that the Jets like C.J. Henderson and we could select him over the WRs if our OTs are gone. I am having flashbacks to last year with Quinnen Williams being rumored on draft day and I could not believe it. Please for god sake, GO OFFENSE IN THE FIRST ROUND. CORNERBACKS DO NOT WIN CHAMPIONSHIPS. TAKE CARE OF SAM. God, I am going to fucking LOSE IT if we fumble this.
I think the only defensive players I would like are obviously chase young and isiah Simmons. Simmons and Adams would be lethal rift with their versatility. The Henderson talk could be baiting Atlanta to come up.
Very high potential for me to leap face-first out of my second-floor window if we pass on the best receiver in the draft for a cornerback.

It's sad how conditioned (like Pavlov's dog) to expect the worse when it comes to the Jets' draft. Really a sad testament to the horrible ownership and horrible GM hires they've made through the decades. It's also a testament to our patience, intestinal fortitude (or maybe masochism or insanity) to still be Jets fans after all the horrible, embarrassing, frustrating drafts we've had to endure. That's bad enough, but now we've come to expect to be crushed and disappointed. Fuck you Leon Hess wherever you are. You were one stupid SOB. Fuck you Woody and Chris. In spite of your best efforts to fuck this up, you have finally done something right in hiring Douglas. The Jets' future is changing. This draft is going to cement that change and bring good luck and smart decisions going forward by the Jets. Lombardi Trophy here we come.
I think Jeudy is a special player and landing one of the top two tackles would be nice (not really buying that four guys are all elite), CJ Henderson would be a solid pick.
CJ Henderson is a really good player. I think he’s the best corner in the draft. Yes, better than Okudah. Depending how the draft plays out and Wills/Wirfs/Lamb are gone I think it’s a good pick.
Taking a CB over a WR or OL or hell, even an Edge would be the sign that Douglas's brain has been infected by the lethal Gang Green Worm.
Look, at the end of the day, we need a top CB and he looks a good one but not above the other positions of dire need ie OT, WR, EDGE then CB imo
Exactly. If there were no great WR prospects or very good OT prospects in this draft, and the strength of the draft was CB, then it would make sense to take a CB. If we had few or no holes and it was just a matter of taking the BPA, then it would make sense. With major weaknesses at OT, WR and Edge, it makes no sense to take a CB in the 1st round.
