#Jets CB Bryce Hall is going to be available at the #NFL trade deadline, per sources. Hall, 24, has seen his snaps cut dramatically after NY added DJ Reed and Sauce Gardner, but is one year removed from finishing 2nd in forced incompletions, and is best fit for man-schemes. pic.twitter.com/qoLQHOkNh2— Matt Lombardo (@MattLombardoNFL) October 17, 2022 Douglas loading up on picks for next year.
He played bad during Preseason and once the season started Echols started to take his snaps. That said, I wish we didn't trade him. For the first time in a long time we might play meaningful November/December games. I rather keep him on the roster as depth.
I'd expect quite a few people are available for trade right now. Huff, Hall, Mims, Davis. Young cheap players that are not getting on the field as much as they need. Sent from my M2007J20CG using Tapatalk
From everything I've seen Mims put in the work in the off season and came in ready to play. I hope we can make a trade and he ends up somewhere he has a chance to play. Maybe Green Bay? It was clear after watching the game Sunday that they are woefully short of receivers.
Imagine the Jets go into Lambeau and destroy the Packers...then a week or so later JD destroys their front office by snagging a third-round pick for Mims.....LOL!
I don't like It. Keep the depth we have.. Depth Is very important and we actually have quality depth at most positions right now. Let's keep It that way.
Big mistake if he gets traded. He doesn't cost much of anything. Injuries can derail the entire season
This offensive scheme isn’t a good fit for Mims… so maybe the exact same scheme in WI will be better?
I think the issue here is less the scheme and more the fact that we have a bunch of better receivers. Green Bay has nobody at WR. Scheme or no scheme, I'm sure Rodgers would love to have another warm body who could stretch the field.
Probably not worth trading him for whatever they'd get back, which is probably a mid Day 3 pick. Now I wouldn't be surprised if Hall wants a trade. A year removed from being a decent starter playing 1000 snaps, he's not even active on game days. I'd keep him unless you get some crazy offer or he's asking for a trade They'll probably get more calls for Mims. Wonder if they'll pull the trigger on a trade. Corey Davis has shown he's still an important part of this offense and a go-to for Zach so no consideration of trading him. So Mims is een further from playing time barring injury
I liked Mims' potential but after watching this year's team play and the offensive system they run it'd be better off for him and the Jets if they parted ways. Maybe they get lucky enough to get a 4th for him. If Elijah Moore is having a hard time getting targets in this O that should tell you all you need to know about Mims chances of playing time...slim to none. Get something for him.
I seriously doubt that either Davis or Huff will be traded. Huff is one of our best pass rushers, and one of the few speed rushers we have. Davis is perhaps Zach's favorite target.
Mims, Hall, and a 4th for a 2nd You probably should have clarified which Davis your meant. I made my assumption based on “Young cheap players that are not getting on the field as much as they need.”
Hall is a guy that is stuck playing on the outside. And while I feel he’s a solid cover corner, he really doesn’t have great ball skills. Echols passed him and is better with his ball skills. And he can play the slot. MC2 is a good slot guy. Just feels like he’s stuck much like Mims…guys who have talent but don’t have the versatility to play specials or other positions.
Just to clarify, I only said Huff, as he's good! Clearly he's not getting the time on the field this season that his play deserves. Inactive for the first three games and reached 29% of snaps on Sunday.. The picture isn't very clear why! The other was our dogshit Davis, not Corey!
