i'm getting more and more impressed wiht him he was getting good pressure and he made some greta plays he seems to be really playing well. he seems to be really taken to the 3-4 defense looks like we may not have made a bad pick after all . what do you guys think?

Well there was another thread about how bad he was but i havent seen him play. The only stats i have seen show him to be up in the top 2 in tackles.

ya, it's ridiculous to say he's abd. He's been the best member of the D this year. He's lost contain a few times and he sometimes seems to lose his man when defending in space, but I think overall, he has shown that he can play off blocks, tackle well and with force, maintain discipline (usually) and take care of his responsibilities. I'm impressed with him, definitely.

He is best in this scheme chasing the QB. He can't handle the open field, but he does the job in that fake 3-4 we've been running. He is in as a LB, but he lines up right behind the LOS, and shoots for the QB.

I like Thomas, and always have. He isn't a pro-bowl player, but he can definitely play well with the right scheme, which this 3-4 is for him. (Now if we could just get the other guys on the D to fit in...)

As the OLB, he should be making plays, not getting tackles. Where are the sacks? He looked like a force in the preseason but has done very little during the regular season. I think he's playing ok, but I wouldn't say he's playing great.

Last game, if the refs were more stringent in calling the holding, he would've had at least a sack, probably 2. The Dolfags' OT was holding him all day long, but he was still able to get some pressure on Harrington and force him to throw. I like what he's done so far, and I hope he continues to develop in that role as well as he has.
