If they don't seriously consider cutting Bryan Thomas next year, then they get what they deserve. If you play the 3-4 you HAVE to have an edge rusher. Pace gives a weak rush, Taylor is too old, but Thomas gives NO pass rush. My 82-year-old mother could get around the tackle faster then Bryan Thomas.

    dude....it wasn't just Thomas.

We wined and dined Jason Taylor to come here.....he looked like Montgomery Burns out there today.

Rex/Tanny need to infuse some youth into our front 7 at the next draft.....badly.

Need to get Pace back healthy from this foot injury and bring in a OLB or two early in the draft. Pass rush is now good at all this year.

    I think Jenkins is

Not talent wise, but the fact that we gave up some picks and good money for 1 season.

We gave the guy a big 5 year contract, and gave up a 3rd and 5th round pick for him.

And effectively all we got was 1 season out of him.

Maybe its just me but thats pretty disappointing.

Dont get me wrong I love the guy, and if he was healthy that trade would be northing short of a grand slam. But when youre giving up multiple picks for a guy you kind of NEED them to produce.

    This

It's time to really bring on a youth movement in our D-Line and Outside Linebackers.

Ellis is a still a good player but I would rather part ways with a good player a year early then a year late. Either way this team needs another 3-4 DE and badly needs a pass rushing OLB.

It would be huge if the guy agreed to come back to vet's min next year to back up Pouha... assuming they find something to make a new ligament with...

That trade is still nothing short of a grand slam.

You have a chance to trade for a game changing DT and you get him for a 3rd and 5th. That is highway robbery, if he plays 3 games or 300 games. You make this trade all day and everyday.

He had 2 freak injuries, he isn't disappointing in the sense some others are.

Pace is disappointing because he stinks.

Whoever the top defensive prospect is we should trade up to get him or at least in the top 15 to draft a defensive end or nose tackle

Its not just BT, its everybody outside of Ellis. We need to get a pure pass rusher i dont even give a fuck if he can cover or play the run just a beast with a high powered motor who can get to the QB. You get 1 really good pass rusher and the rest will feed of it.

Does anyone agree we should trade up and get Nick Fairley? I know, everyone wants to actually trade down to get more picks, but this guy is just too good to pass up, think of how he will change our D-Line.
