I just found out the Rams are releasing Isaac bruce. Do you think we have any chance of signing him or another big receiver like Randel El or Jurevicius?

he's already cut.. 80 % chance st.louis are gonna re sign him.

doubt we look ethier of the other 2.

randel el is a bidding war waiting happen.

Jurevicius may be a possibility but i dont see him coming to a rebuilding situation coming off a sb run.

just my opinion though what do i know.

Why not? There are some good prospects out there, and we may have the cash for them.

You think that just mabey its because he was in a far more potent offense. Seriously, how do you think he would have done with the jets last year? No way I'd say he is better than Coles, and I'm not a huge believer in him either.

you can say his offense is more potent. but bulger, fitzpatrick, and martin the rams had qb problems too last year after bulger was hurt. again im not saying wr is our 1st priorty but you have to be concerned with jmac with his amazing 1 career hundred yard game or Jerricho "hype man "Cotchary

QBs will flourish when they have Orlando Pace and several other decent to good Offensive Linemen protecting them in an offense that emphasizes the pass like we used to emphasize the 3rd and long draw play when Hackett was here.

What pass that we emphasized, the backwards one? The screen one? I agree we need a good ol, but i HATED that draw play.

reciever is just not a position that needs to be addressed. How many star recievers did the Pats have on any of thier super bowls? I'm not at all concerned with Mcariens as our current #2. I don't think any reciever in the league would have put up immpressive numbers on this Jet team last year. As far as your reference to JC being a hype machine...I'm an active member of many fantasy football forums, and have never seen his name even mentioned. I think he could be a servicable wr in this league but not a pro bowl caliber talent

Here's what I've noticed in my one season on this board:

*Anyone starting for the Jets sucks and should be cut immediately

*Any reserves on the Jets should be playing all the time

*Anyone let go from any other team is the answer to all our problems and should be signed right away

Fantasy football? man im talking about this board hyping him. and if you read my post i never said anything about wr being our #1 priorty or even being high. bt fact is a fact jmac and j cotch arent scaring any defense were gonna face.

I guess you have to expect fans on this board to hype guys like Cotchery. I try to keep things realistic, with a little hope and optimism thrown in. The fact the recievers you mentioned are not scaring anyone is more of a reflection of the erratic qb play, and injury riddled O-line more than anything else. JMO
