Wont they feel pretty stupid if the Bengals beat the Chiefs this week?

that division is still in play and the Bengals could beat them

His stats aren't bad this year. 26 TD's and 8 INT"s for 3,070 yards. The yards might be a little low, but his stats overall are decent. Jets fans would kill for this kind of QB play. Let's be honest.

I'd ultimately rather have a Hackett'less Rus at QB today then a 40yo+ Rodgers, and I been saying that elsewhere since the off-season.

It'll be interesting to see where he ends up. Especially if Couisins ends up resigning in Minny. Pittsburgh or *maybe* Atlanta after they fire that OC might be interesting.

Good point on Atlanta. I could see him going there, that's where his woman is from right? And he's like Mr. Ciara

My only hesitant point on Atlanta is they are a young team with less established coaching I think fits Rus better in Pittsburgh.

Pittsburgh makes a lot of sense to me though depending on how that out in his contract after 2025 actually works. They are a playoff team with 2023 Rus at QB. If it's essentially only 2 years at $40/m per for them to take the flyer i don't see them being positioned to do any better elsewhere. Being a little too far down in the draft to realistically trade up top, ect.

You know he is going to end up in NE and regain his MVP form so the Pats can continue torturing the Jets and their fans for the foreseeable future. You all know it will end this way.

I think Russell Wilson is a white man in Atlanta

Whats interesting is this is being done because if he gets seriously injured the last two weeks the Broncos will be on the hook for 37 million guaranteed, and he wont be tradable. We should follow their example. This is the last season Rodgers will be tradable. Cash out and keep building Woody.

The Jets can't even follow the flashing lights example here highlighting just how much positive value can be gained by getting Hackett's stink out of any room he's not being carried in. Before, or even AFTER a full year of seeing just how bad it really can be up close and personal.

This reeks of Sean Payton being the Gestapo. I don’t even understand what the fuck he was screaming at Wilson about against Detroit a couple weeks ago when his team got walloped.

I have a friend that’s a big Broncos fan and they think Payton is keeping him in a box until they’re down or it’s late in the game. And he’s actually been pro-Payton all year.

They were like, "who can we get in here and work with Russ to bring him back to greatness?"

Payton shows up and digs him out like a tick.

In true JETS fashion, they'll probably try to unite him with his favorite OC :)

Make the team pay you an absurd amount of money so your contract/power is more than the QBs. Smart play.

Wilson is indicating that he wont be traded this offseason, but cut. Nobody can handle his contract. Man the Broncos are in a pickle.

And what does that have to do with getting out of that absurd contract? You gonna pay it?

So what are you saying then, you think Wilson is worth $48 million a year for the foreseeable future with $161 million in guarantees? They need to get out of that deal and a feeble shot at one playoff game (which they won’t get anyway) doesn’t change that.
