Will Brodie Croyle become the greatest Jet QB since Namath? I think it is very likely.

Who says we will draft him? I would draft him if he is there in the third, but it seems we are favoring Cutler.

Obviously, we would have to draft him. The difference between Croyle and Cutler is very small - Cutler is better in some areas(size, strength) and Croyle in others(accuracy, toughness). It makes more sense to me to take Croyle late in the first or early in the second rather than Cutler with the 1st pick.

Well don't forget that Cutler played with a bad O-Line and took a beating as well, so I'm sure he is pretty tough too.

nah, Cutler is tougher than Croyle. Cutler got the living hell beaten out of him behind Vandie's line and always came back. I give Cutler props for that

Did you see Alabama play this year? Vandy's line was better -Croyle was sacked something like 32 times!

thats not Cutlers fault. Croyle has no mobility and Cutler has mobility. All because Cutler didnt get sacked as much, didnt mean he didnt get popped as much while throwing the ball. Think Byron Leftwich, how he pretty much got hit in his chest everytime he threw the ball.

Croyle got hit plenty. I must admit that the only time i saw Cutler was against LSU. By the end of the game, he was chunkin' and duckin'. I guess that is why I question his toughness-because in that game he did not play well when under pressure.

Cutler ended up throwing two interceptions against Florida, an early one killing the Commodores momentum. He also picked on our weak backup corner and didn't really go after Dee Webb at all. It's good that he recognized a weakness, but most of his passes were batted down when he tried throwing it in between zones.
