First i want to say.... Isn't it nice not thinking about a QB right now??? This has been an awesome start to Free agency even with getting spurred by Barr. If we can bring in these three guys I am over the moon going into the draft. To be honest i think at three it should always be BPA NO MATTER WHAT. I can't tell you if Bosa will fall but he very well could and that would be FANTASTIC. what also could happen is something like the Giants knocking on the door to trade up. Something i was thinking about was what kind of trades the Jets are still going to make that they haven't yet. I really do believe they may either trade for a CB. Loosing both Skrine and Claiborrne leaves a pretty big hole and i don't see them addressing that in the first round of the draft. So look for a trade even if they sign Claiborne. This is a fun time to be a Jets fan (for the time being *crosses fingers*) What other moves do you see forthcoming?? #J-E-T-SALLDAY
IMO the Jets shouldn't even think of trading for any position. They don't have the draft capital. We need more picks, not less. Claiborne was pretty awful last year. Why do you want him back? Again, imo he should be the last CB they consider signing. Losing Skrine creates no hole whatsoever imo. It's addition by subtraction. Both Darqueeze Dennard and Bryce Callahan are light years better than Skrine. I don't understand why Mac hasn't signed one of them yet. IMO Ronald Darby and Pierre Desir are the two CBs they should target to add their 2nd CB.
Does anybody have any idea why we stayed away from Paradis? I don't it, we easily could have matched Carolina and he seemed like the best available option. The only solace I can take is that I found it strange Denver didn't want him back, so my best guess is that he wasn't fully recovering from his broken leg. The Jets apparently were the ones to back out, so I am hoping they saw something we don't know about it. Otherwise this is a MASSIVE miss, and it will hurt us big time.
