    NY JETS DRAFT

1st) Sergio Kindle, DE/LB, Texas- Falls in this Mock. No brainer if he is available.

2nd) Torell Troup, NT, Central Florida- Jenkins is old and coming off injury, provides nice depth and allows to move Pouha to DE.

4th) Brandon Carter, G, Texas Tech- Scary looking dude and is absolutely fierce. Needs to make the adjustment from a spread offense to an NFL offense, but that should not be too hard, especially with a year to learn with one of the best oline coaches in the game.

6th) Patrick Stoudamire, CB, Western Illinois- Big time sleeper. Challenge Lowery for the nickel. Has to be better than Coleman.

7th) Mickey Shuler, TE, Penn St.- Excellent blocker. Better than Hartstock. Could also take a RB like LaMarcus Coker or Chris Brown.

Gerald McCoy to #6 and Wilson before Haden? Someone's getting ballsy.

Nice mock. If the Jets wind up with that draft then you wouldn't hear me complaining

    Thanks for the positive comments.

Without a doubt. The key will be Green Bay and Arizona. If Arizona decides to go with Weatherspoon to replace Dansby over getting a pass rush. And if Green Bay decides to go oline or secondary, then there is a good chance he will be there.

Of course there's the whole Jason Taylor thing, so we may not need a DE/OLB in the first anyway. That just makes making the Jets pick that much harder.

If they don't go OLine in the first there definitely needs to be a reaction shot of Aaron Rodgers.

The only effect Jason Taylor should have on the draft board should be to stop Tannenbaum from trading up. If someone like Kindle or Graham is sitting there in the 1st then they are going to take him.

I dont know. I think if we got Taylor, we probably wouldnt go OLB until late, unless Graham was there at 29. We'd have a lot of money tied into LB'ers if we signed Taylor and drafted somebody in the first, even if we traded Thomas. We'd be more likely to stock up on corners than LB'ers.

We're in an uncapped season so we can float an extra few million in one position. Thomas could very well be traded during the draft. Gholston should be cut and Taylor would most likely retire, leaving Pace's huge contract, the rookie and Jamal Westerman and Kenwin Cummings, but those two are flex players at LB.

    I don't see the reference?

I hate Chad Grey, but Matt McDonough is a decent drummer.

EDIT:.... does he look like McDonough? Was that the reference?

The make up and hair looks like what Chad Gray would have. Dude drew on his head too........
(And I don't mind Mudvayne.........HellYeah is awful though)

And Why is Cincy taking 2 safeties? I also like Troup alot but think he might be a mid to late round 3 pick...

Good call on Cincy, fixed it.

Disagree on Troup. I think he will be a late second, early third. 34 players always go earlier than expected. As of now we dont have a third, so if we like him we should take him. I think he can go as high as a mid 2nd round pick.

He looks like a guy with pass blocking upside who would be a nice swing offensive lineman. Plus he played in a conference with some of the top Dlineman in this draft and acquitted himself quite well. I'd take him in a second.
