    Just saw this on on NFL.com. Sucks I've grown up watching him lay the wood but it did seem like his time to go. He was an amazing player, someone truly loyal to the team that drafted him.

    Definitely a great career, people will be watching highlights of him for generations.

    I saw him play on November 26th, 2000. All they talked about on the radio leading up to the game was this kid. Martin and Parmalee were held to 55 combined rushing yds; but we still won bc testarverde threw 2 td passes one to Becht and one to Richie Anderson. final 17-10

    It seems like it was just yesterday, but that was 13 years ago. NFL players have such short careers.
