hmmmm...i bet the Ravens make a major push for Boldin, Ocho Cinco or some other high profile wideout.
I wonder if McNairs murder has anything to do with this. I always liked Mason. He had a great career. He put up some tremendous numbers throughout his career
Me 2. I bet it has something to do with McNair's murder. He said he was going to try to help out the McNair family with their kids. But obviously can't replace Steve as a father
That would be epic. Mason is one of the most underrated WRs out there, he's tough, he's a classy guy and he can still play. I have no doubt most of Flacco's success last year is a tribute to Mason's ability.
Like I said earlier Mason put up some very good numbers. He had over 1,000 yards receiving 7 times and over 80 receptions in 5 different seasons and 1 year of 79. He has 790 recptions and over 10,000 yards receiving in his career. Not bad for a guy that played for run oriented teams throughout his career.
I doubt that. The ravens have never valued receivers highly among thier prioritys. They have taken only one wideout in the first or second round Since 2001. I would not expect them to break the bank going after a high profile receiver. They were the number 4 ranked running team last year and will continue on that path this seaon.
Flacco better be living with Clayton and carpooling to Heap's place this offseason. Losing Mason is going to hurt him in the passing game.
