If you like Rex, you gotta love Braylon's tweet: "And before I take off and forget, all you Cleveland browns fans, 17 is coming back and you better bring ya damn popcorn " http://twitter.com/OfficialBraylon
Lots of interesting stories in this game.Ryan vs Ryan,Mangini vs Jets,Braylon returns. Its like a WWE payperview!
I'm already excited for this game. I think it will be another nailbiter on the road. I just hope we cut down on the penalties. Hope Braylon plays HUGE!!!!!
Hes made so many big plays. The 80 yard TD against the Colts, the TD against the Patriots, The 70 yard TD against the Dolphins, The 50 yard TD against Broncos, The TD yesterday im sure im missing some.
Good stuff from Braylon. Vince we have to get you to stick around more! Once K-dub starts kicking it up a notch, I have no doubt you will become a board staple. Get him on the field this week Rex. Been saying it for over a month now, his first int should be coming against Cleveland!
Braylons been the only consistent part of our entire offense this season. Without this guy wed have a losing record
LTs YPC has cut in half his last 3 games. And has had more fumbles in his last 4 games (3) than he usually does in an entire season. Not complaining about LT since hes been great, but he hasnt exactly been consistent. Hes hot one week and not another. Im sure a large part of that is opponents gameplanning to shut down our run though. And Braylons 2 worst games, our only loses on the season with a total of 9 points those games.
I wrote a post about this a while ago. LT is probably the clear front runner for team MVP, but I'd have to put Braylon Edwards right behind him. The guy's a tremendously important piece of our entire offensive scheme, he's been remarkably consistent, and he's produced the lion's share of our big plays. I'm glad he's going to be pumped next week, because Mangini and Rob Ryan are most likely going to sell out to bottle up the run. A big homecoming from Braylon Edwards (not to mention Holmes, the Ohio State alum) is going to be necessary for us to pull out the win. Perhaps more importantly, despite the diva reputation some sources have claimed for him, the guy really seems to be selling out for this team. If Sanchez doesn't develop fast, Edwards is going to go through the prime of his career without ever putting up the kind of numbers he knows he's capable of, but I think the years he spent in Cleveland, where he did have some statistical success, taught him that winning is much more satisfying. Even now some of his comments get played in the press as grumbling, but I think that's misleading. He hasn't said anything inflammatory, and he hasn't said anything false, so I say keep right on talking. All of that being said, Edwards has a noticeable tendency to hold the ball with one hand. A lot of players do that, and it drives me nuts. Hopefully yesterday's fumble means he'll be a little more careful next time.
Braylon was unpopular in Cleveland because he got into a fight w/ someone in Lebron's entourage, right?? Wonder if they're still pissed off for that.
Before we all start sucking Edwards dick, remember he also made a huge play for the Lions this weekend. All of our receivers need to all some concentration and ball security to go with the obvious phisycal skills if we want to go anywhere in the palyoffs.
